He has since assumed his new position at British Oasis Academy.
Established 12 years ago, the Abuja-based British-style co-educational secondary school offers boarding and day-school programmes, with facilities including classrooms, laboratories, hostels, medical facilities, sporting and recreational amenities.
Admissions for the 2026/27 academic session are currently ongoing.
Pope is expected to lead efforts to reorganise and reposition the academy, with emphasis on academic excellence, discipline, sports development, civic responsibility and leadership training.
He will also oversee the introduction of the school’s early years programmes, comprising nursery and primary sections, scheduled to commence in September.
