The South-East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has asked Ndigbo to hold him responsible if President Bola Tinubu is re-elected but fails to deliver on his promises to the South-East.
Iyiegbu made the statement at a one-day town hall meeting and membership drive organised by the City Boy Movement in Anambra State.
The event, held at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, attracted members and leaders of the movement, including its National Coordinator, Hon. Francis Shoga; Anambra State Coordinator, Mr Nonso Ozoemena; State Woman Leader, Adaora Soludo; and Deputy National Woman Leader, Sophie Uzodimma.

Speaking at the gathering, Iyiegbu assured Ndigbo that the City Boy Movement was “on the table” and would negotiate the interests of the Igbo people, while urging greater participation in the political process.
Also speaking, Shoga said Ndigbo could no longer remain outsiders in national politics and urged them to support Tinubu’s re-election, arguing that the President had built a broader national coalition.
He also called for the continuation and deepening of the administration’s economic reforms.

Other speakers, including Ozoemena, Soludo and Uzodimma, backed the call for greater participation, particularly by Igbo youths, in the movement’s campaign to support Tinubu’s second-term bid.
