ENUGU — A community leader and critical stakeholder from Ibagwa-Aka in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, Engr. James Ifeanyichukwu Ajibo, has congratulated Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, on his recent awards and recognitions.
Ajibo, in a congratulatory message, said the recognitions were coming against the backdrop of what he described as the governor’s positive footprints across the state.
“This is to convey my hearty congratulations to our super performing governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his recent awards,” he said.
Mbah recently received an Award of Good Governance at the 10th African Community Service Awards in Virginia, United States, while the University of East London conferred on him an honorary Doctor of Laws degree, honoris causa, in recognition of his leadership, academic and entrepreneurial achievements.
He also received the Daily Times Nigeria @100 Outstanding Governor Award for the South-East.
Ajibo said the recognitions would continue, considering what he described as the impact of Mbah’s administration, adding: “The awards galore will continue considering the positive footprints you have brought to bear on Enugu State.”
He said the number of completed projects and programmes under the administration was increasing, stating: “The completed projects and programmes are becoming innumerable.”
Ajibo, who described himself as a critical stakeholder from Ibagwa-Aka, said he was celebrating the milestones recorded under what he called the governor’s disruptive innovation approach.
“As a critical stakeholder from Ibagwa Aka in Igbo-Eze South LGA, I hereby celebrate these milestones of yours as you unleash them through the disruptive innovation approach,” he said.
He further commended Mbah’s leadership, saying it had demonstrated the capacity to translate vision into reality.
“Your leadership ability has continued to display what it takes to translate vision into reality. You have reciprocated the trust we invested in you,” Ajibo said.
He said the administration had placed Enugu on “positive and emerging directions,” describing the developments as “an epitome of good governance” and saying the state had “taken a quantum leap in different” areas.
Ajibo expressed his appreciation for the governor’s achievements and congratulated him on the recent awards and recognitions.
