Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced plans for a return to London in 2027, following his headline performance at the Crystal Palace Bowl.
Davido performed on Friday, August 14, at the “Davido & Friends” concert, part of the Crystal Palace Bowl summer festival series in London. The event was officially billed with Davido as headliner and featured Omah Lay, Black Sherif, Gabzy, TxC, Jazzwrld & Thukuthela, Ecool, Morravey and Boi Chase.
The outdoor show drew fans to the Crystal Palace Bowl, where Davido performed a selection of his popular songs as the main act.
The concert marked a significant London appearance for the singer, who had described the Crystal Palace Bowl event as his first-ever UK festival and his only outdoor show in London this summer.
Following the performance, Davido announced two London stadium dates for 2027 through his Instagram Story, signalling plans for another major engagement with his British audience.
The announcement comes as the singer continues to expand his international touring schedule and the global reach of Afrobeats.
The Crystal Palace Bowl show was part of a summer programme running from July 31 to August 16, with Davido’s August 14 performance officially listed by the venue and ticketing platforms.
Davido’s latest London appearance adds to his established international touring profile, while the planned 2027 stadium shows are expected to provide a larger platform for his music and his continued connection with audiences in the United Kingdom.
