ENUGU– Hon. Patrick Chikere Onuh, Coordinator of the Presidents-General of Igbo-Eze North LGA, has congratulated Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State on his recent recognitions, describing them as acknowledgement of his administration’s achievements.

Onuh, in a congratulatory message, also felicitated the newly sworn-in Chairman of Igbo-Eze North LGA, Chief Dr. Onyekachi Simon, his Deputy, Abah Joe Idenyi, and the 20 ward councillors on their assumption of office.

He congratulated Mbah on the Daily Times Nigeria @100 Outstanding Governor, South East Award, which the governor received in recognition of his administration’s governance and development efforts. Mbah was also honoured with The Sun Man of the Year Award 2025.

Onuh said the conducive political environment created by Mbah’s administration, coupled with what he described as unprecedented monumental achievements across the three senatorial zones, had provided a benchmark for sustainable development and participatory democracy in the state.

He said the administration’s achievements and political environment constituted, in his view, a strong foundation for the All Progressives Congress to sustain electoral victories in Enugu State.

On the Igbo-Eze North administration, Onuh congratulated Simon, Idenyi and the councillors on their victory at the Sept. 26 Enugu State Local Government Election and their subsequent assumption of office.

“We pledge our unflinching loyalty, support and cooperation to your administration. May Almighty God bless you to a successful tenure in office,” he said.
