The Enugu State Commissioner for Water Resources, Ben-Collins Ndu Jr., has commended Governor Peter Mbah for supporting community-based interventions through the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency, CSDA.
Ndu made the commendation on Friday during a courtesy visit to the CSDA office in Enugu, where he reviewed the agency’s interventions in communities across the state.
He particularly commended the quality of materials used in CSDA-funded borehole projects, stressing the importance of quality and sustainability in the provision of potable water.
The commissioner also praised the agency’s community-driven approach, saying residents’ participation in identifying and implementing projects would promote ownership and proper maintenance.
Ndu commended the CSDA General Manager/CEO, Monday Diamond Ani, for his leadership and commitment to translating the administration’s grassroots development agenda into community projects.
Responding, Ani thanked the commissioner for the visit and said the agency remained committed to its community-driven development model and the delivery of quality interventions that improve living conditions.
He said the agency would continue working towards a more productive and result-oriented CSDA.
