ENUGU — The Enugu State Government says it will on Wednesday, Sept. 9, unveil a compendium titled “A Thousand and One Reasons Why Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah Should Continue as Governor of Enugu State.”
This was contained in a statement signed by Dr Collins Ogbu, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Strategic Communications, on Friday.
According to the statement, the compendium contains a record of policies, projects, reforms and other activities of the Mbah administration since the governor assumed office in May 2023.
It said the unveiling would take place at 12 noon at the Main Bowl of the International Conference Centre, Enugu.
The statement said political leaders, traditional and community leaders, professionals, business leaders, youth and women organisations, civil society groups and other stakeholders were expected at the event.
According to the statement, the event is intended to formally present the compendium and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to examine the activities of the administration since May 2023.
The statement also announced a special recognition segment featuring the maiden Lion Building Award of Excellence.
According to the statement, the award is designed to recognise and honour individuals who have made notable contributions to the development and advancement of Enugu State.
